I'd like to inform upfront that now would finally be a good time to
implement the `base-devel` meta-package orthogonal to our already
existing `base` meta-package.
We haven't really pushed it for quite some time as nothing in
`base-devel` changed in the past. Now the situation looks

use the cli and fpm sapis. Bug thanks for providing the patch! I have
seen others use the patchelf tool to rewrite the sonames. I'll check
if that would make the solution more reliable.
