Re: Bug Report: Subversion 1.7 segfaults when using gnome-keyring authentication (Linux x64)

2016-01-19 Thread Vikram

Hi,

I'm also stuck with this same issue,
"svn up" makes svn segfaults and coring.
This started happening when I give
my new password set in my svn server.

Can some one please help on this?
Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks
Vikram

Unable to do merge without enabling the "ignore-ancestry" flag.

2011-03-21 Thread Vikram Saraf

Hi All,

We are facing a weird issue with merging JAVA files. For some reason ,
when we do merge, SVN presumes that there is nothing to do, unless I
enable the "ignore-ancestry" flag.

*Here is what we did. *

1. Created branch "1.1" from "trunk".
2. Created branch "1.2" from "trunk".
3. Added file1.1.java to 1.1 branch.
4. Merged "1.1" branch to "1.2" branch.
5. Merged "1.1" branch to "trunk" with re-integrate option.
6. Merged "trunk" into "1.2" branch. (This is not merging the latest
JAVA file "file1.1.java" from trunk into branch unless
"ignore-ancestry" flag is set.

I tried to reproduce the issue by performing same steps on a short
repo, but surprisingly it works there.

SVN server version is 1.5.5 (r34862).

Any comments will be helpful .

Regards,
Vikram.

2016-01-22 Thread Vikram B
Hi Stefan,

Thank you for the response and clarification.
Yes, I'm using 1.7.19 and I'm with that issue.

And, I have tried installing CollabNet Subverion client 1.8.15 and I get a
different issue (svn: E175013:) as below. I don't think its a credentials
issue because it still fails with the same error even with explicit
credential specification.

Any idea, you can help on this.

Thanks
Vikram

Our Application(webMethods) supports only subversion server 1.6.x, do you have
a subversion server 1.6.x which we can install on 64 bit windows 2008 server.
