[Bug 385023] Re: System Hangs on emptying trash folder

2009-07-12 Thread vhof
+ 1
Same here.

Weird behavior: it happened twice - first time when pressing the button
without deletion, then after restart AFTER emptying the trash. Also I
tried to simulate the problem by deleting some files then emptying the
trash, and I couldn't, that is, there was no problem.

Could be ntfs4 issue?

[Bug 120643] Feisty Fawn: ntfs-3g ceased to work afetr software update

2007-06-15 Thread vhof
Public bug reported:

After last update,

hda1 has changed to sda1, and became unvisible in Gnome Commander,
Nautilus (Places) etc.

The solution given in this thread -
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=2852364#post2852364

was:

Move the ntfs-3g lines in the fstab to the end of the file. Ntfs-config
inserted them into the wrong place. This bug is fixed in the latest
ntfs-config release.

After reboot, problem was solved.

The temp. solution for those who encountered this (oh silly me!)
Just go to this file, and replace "#" with ";".

[Bug 764330] Re: [regression] Moving windows lags behind the mouse by 1-2 seconds; appear to freeze when dragging.

2011-12-24 Thread vhof
I hope someone already mentioned, if not I've noticed that-

The 'hanging' during the dragging of a window happens when you move it
fast (like from the one side of the screen to another), but!! if you
move it also fast -- by only by 1-5 pixels or so then it doesn't hang
and responds ok.
