[Bug 868832] Re: system fails to properly detect hardware at boot

2015-12-19 Thread Vamshi Balanaga
Have you tried installing the required device drivers on a separate machine and
installing them via a usb jump drive?
Does your system dual boot?
Does this happen on your other OS?
If this is a fresh install have you tried re-installing with a new bootable usb
disk?

Is this a gnome issue? Or is this a 14.04 issue? Because this bug can't be
reproduced on 15.10 or the latest release of 16.04.
It could also possibly be a hardware issue, please specify the hardware you are

[Bug 1170166] Re: No right or left mouse menu in 13.04 GNOME or Unity

Probably a hardware issue as this bug cannot be reproduced in the later

occured? The make and model of the mouse, the motherboard, the cpu and
the memory. I don't think any of the other parts will be necessary but
if you know them, go ahead and just list your full system specs.

This bug cannot be reproduced on later versions of both gnome and

this is a hardware issue, in which case I would like you to list the

[Bug 1443744] Re: Setting a display from 800x600 to 1280x768 does not survive rebooting

2016-01-03 Thread Vamshi Balanaga
Can you give us some more information please? Information such as: what
hardware you're using, what version of Ubuntu, whether the bug still
occurs, if it occurs under only certain circumstances, what display
drivers you are using, if it happens with other display drivers
(proprietary if you are using open-source drivers, OR Open-source if you
are using proprietary drivers).
