[Bug 360148] [NEW] p54usb module loading problem
Public bug reported: Ubuntu 9.04 Beta i386 without updates. I've already put the right firmware for my wireless dongle (from http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/p54), but i can't have wireless working. [Bug 572221] Re: Lucid freeze after a few minutes (or seconds!). Cold boot required everytime.
In response to "I wonder if you are hitting this: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Bugs/Lucidi8xxFreezes"; I tried "Workaround A: Re-enable KMS" but it didn't help. I don't want to use VESA (Workaround B). I don't want to downgrade to the 2.8.0 -intel DDX drive (Workaround C). Workaround D could be my only solution but do i have to do it or should i expect an update?
