I boot from cdrom drive as Live session user and all the times I have the same
problems.
Description:Ubuntu jaunty (development branch) {alpha 6}
Release:9.04
The first problem was a message after X start that : "clock-applet have a
problem, and ask me if i want to delete it or not"
At the same time a second problem is happening: more than 30 icons of nautilus
opens at the down bar of the desktop. I dont know exactly how many of nautilus
icons are there because every second a new one is created. But only the icons,
because nautilus dont open if I want to see my /home or something else in my
system.
I comand 'top' at the terminal and I sow that nautilus was using 20 % of my
CPU.
I killall nautilus and all the icons disappears from the down bar of my desktop.
But still nautilus dont work if I want to go at Place>Home folder or any other
folder or directory.
After I kill nautilus I can use my system as usually exept the problem with
nautilus that I described
but when I command
apt-get xchat-gnome
I got this problem
"ldconfig.real crashed with signal 7"
and when installation end I got this at the terminal

one other problem is that the background srceen of my desktop is black
and I cant see anything there, not only files but even if right click at
the desktop I dont know if something happens or not.
I dont know if it good or if its wrong to report differents problems at the

I have the some problem in about 2 months. My system is UbuntuStudio 8.04 and it is full upgraded. I didnt have the problem when I used kde applications on gnome (kaffeine, konqueror, k3b, Amarok etc. And I didnt have this problem when I created a new user at the same laptop or if I used sudo at the old user. I look gconf at both users and it was ok. I look diff -ur ~user1/.gnome2/ ~user2/.gnome/ and everything was ok! I check cat ~user1/.config/gtk-2.0/gtkfilechooser.ini and for user2 but everything was ok also! I ckeck cat $HOME/.gtk-bookmarks but also everything was ok! Public bug reported: Problem: Gnome screen recorder dont start. If I use Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R nothing happens. If I use PrintScrn , screenshot and screen-recorder appears. screenshot works, but screen recorder not, only for half a second appear on top bar the red 00:00 but disappears without recording.
