I am using gnome-sound-recorder. When I used audacity the same problem appeared. After some time everything was normal, but only for a while. I didn't try to record anything from a few weeks, and when I tried now it appears, that everything is OK. Maybe on of the actualizations fixed it. P.S. 'sudo pulseaudio -k' gives: W: ltdl-bind-now.c: Failed to find original dlopen loader. It was some time ago, since than I have reinstall my Ubuntu. As I remember default was webcam, but I was trying a few configurations. Problems were in both configurations.
