[Bug 315962] Re: Doesn't work with default server

2009-01-28 Thread propan0
I've also tried http://pastebin.com/, http://paste.ubuntu.com/, as well as the
default... none worked :S
Has anyone gotten this applet to work with any pasting services?

[Bug 134664] Re: [GutsyT-5, Hardy] Kopete looses MSN connection when a message is sent.

2008-02-16 Thread propan0
Qt: 3.3.7
KDE: 3.5.8
Kopete: 0.12.7
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

Runing on kubuntu here, I am having the same problem. Connection to msn drops
after a few seconds, and if I try to send a message to one of my contacts, i
get the message:
The following message has not been sent correctly (Connection closed):

when i run kopete from the console, I get this when it disconnects:
kopete (msn): WARNING: [void MSNSocket::slotSocketError(int)] Error: 17 (remote
host closed connection)

Let me know if you know further information/testing on fixing this.

[Bug 365300] Re: Randomly I get double clicks when I do a single click.

2013-12-17 Thread propan0
To me this doesnt look like a hardware problem:

I have this issue on ubuntu 13.10, with one simple laser usb mouse (system76
gallago ultrapro). xserver-xorg-input-mouse: 1:1.7.2-3build1
I also suffer this problem on my main desktop, which was installed using ubuntu
minimal. I use a different USB laser mouse, which works just fine on windows
boot for gaming on this machine.

So I think this rules hardware problems out, two completely different
systems with different mouses, both suffering the same problem...

... then of course it could be the case that BOTH mouses are failing
simultaneously :X

OK, in my case this was fixed by installing the python-rsvg package. I found
the tip here:

sudo apt-get install python-rsvg

[Bug 619160] [NEW] HDA-Intel -Realtek ALC889 Recording problem

2010-08-17 Thread propan0
Public bug reported:

Im using the mb Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Socket 1366 (on ubuntu lucid
amd64).

I've tried placing 'options snd-hda-intel model=auto' and other
variations I found on /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf, without any
apparent change or success (following
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HdaIntelSoundHowto).

I even tried installing the package from ubuntu-audio-dev, stil same
problem...

I have also checked that the recording is set to the appropiate mic (in
alsamixer), I cant record from mic using the front nor the back mic
connections. If i choose mic1 i hear nothing, apparently if I choose
mic2 I hear the computer static, and if I try record it, I hear whatever
I'm listeining to through the speakers (though in realy bad quality).

Very weird... I attach here more info below, please do let me know any
other information that might get this MB working properly, for the rest
it is working great as far as I know.

[Bug 619160] Re: HDA-Intel -Realtek ALC889 Recording problem

2010-09-07 Thread propan0
I feel somewhat ashamed to say this, but the bug IS totaly not there, at
least when it comes to the mic properly working.

The mic works out of the box on Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Socket 1366, even
just with the Live CD. MY mic didnt because it was BROKEN mic. Now I
should consider becoming a farmer instead.
