[Bug 355721] Re: Jaunty won't source .xsession
Won't read $HOME/.xsession here either. It even ignores the .xsession file when I link it to the Autostart folder for KDE. .xsession file is executable (thoug do other things in this folder start as it should). Running the .xsession file manually does the trick, but it's annoying. -- Jaunty won't source .xsession https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/355721 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 45953] Re: (Dapper&Breezy) "Filename encoding locale mismatch" : This message when using non UTF8 locales.
If you still get this error when NOT using terminal, you can add the variable before the application for menus and right-clicks: in KDE like this: export [EMAIL PROTECTED]; gqview -r %F -- (Dapper&Breezy) "Filename encoding locale mismatch" : This message when using non UTF8 locales. https://launchpad.net/bugs/45953 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

If you're in a hurry, you can use the package from "cosmic": - Download: https://packages.ubuntu.com/cosmic/all/virtualbox-ext- pack/download - Install it by "sudo dpkg -i virtualbox-ext-pack_5.2.10-4_all.deb" -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1767402 Title: hash mismatch or wrong accept-license key trying to install virtualbox-ext-pack 5.2.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox-ext-pack/+bug/1767402/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1509334] Re: KDE/Plasma very slow to launch (Kubuntu 15.10)
I have the same problem, and I tried to create a new user. Even "Try Kubuntu Desktop" from the install disc does the same. It's very annoying and I'm trying to figure out what it is. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1509334 Title: KDE/Plasma very slow to launch (Kubuntu 15.10) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kde-runtime/+bug/1509334/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1509334] Re: KDE/Plasma very slow to launch (Kubuntu 15.10)
This bug seems to be related to plasma-nm (plasma network manager). For me it took a long time before the "Edit connection" actually showed up, about the same time it took for me to boot into KDE. So I tried to setup the network the old fashioned way with /etc/network/interfaces and removed plasma-nm, now it boots like before. Luckily I don't need network-manager, so I can leave it like this. But if you run a laptop and want some easy setup with a network manager gui, than you should either wait for a fix, or try to use nm-applet found in gnomes network manager. Now, you might still be able to run network-manager without plasma-nm, yet it seems to be related to plasma-nm app itself.
[Bug 973096] Re: Nvidia driver causes xorg crash
Well I see a bunch of people have this problem as well, I run KDE (with effects) and it logs me out from time to time. Mainly just running Opera and irssi. Suspect it must be some flash via Opera than which cause the logoff. Running Kubuntu 12.04, nVidia 295.40, and KDE 4.9 I had 240GTS card which I sent back to the store because I thought it was a hardware fail, that said, it still may be because of heavier hangups. Now I am using the backup card which is 8500GT, and here I never have hard hangups, but logs me out. I hope I don't get my 240GTS back now because of faulty drivers, that will be waste of cash. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/973096 Title: Nvidia driver causes xorg crash To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nvidia-drivers-ubuntu/+bug/973096/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
