[Bug 872652] Re: screensaver backlight stuck off, system looks hung
I noticed a couple of issues with the 3.0.0-15 release on Dell Studio 15 with intel graphics. I believe these are related- 1. System freeze after few seconds of resume. /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old is attached and has these interesting lines- [ 1371.960] (II) AIGLX: Suspending AIGLX clients for VT switch [ 1377.217] (II) Open ACPI successful (/var/run/acpid.socket) [ 1377.217] (II) AIGLX: Resuming AIGLX clients after VT switch [ 1377.217] (EE) intel(0): Failed to submit batch buffer, expect rendering corruption or even a frozen display: Invalid argument. 2.
