Paul hi. It's been so long ago, that I don't even remember the issue. Besides this, I'm using Arch now, so I cannot even reproduce the incident to answer your question. I agree with Vasilis' notice above. I've first noticed it on Firefox and Thunderbird buts it happens for all windows. When that option is enabled all is working well.
