In my environment  the problem cause by scim.  after install scim-bridge
and change system input method (using im-switch ) ,  all gecko based app
back to life.

i removed totem-mozilla  ,,but firefox and Epiphany-geck keep crash  on
startup.

i upgrade my box from 7.10. after almost successful upgrade . i can't
start my f-spot ,more terrorable is. my memory eaten by this fail.

i check the problem for sometime. and find it's cause by  10K+ dbus-
daemon  process been create by f-spot start abort.

I try 
export GTK_IM_MODULE=xim
before  run oowriter in same terminal

openoffice writer startup with no crash.

if ati opensource driver  support my x1300 card  i will discard fglrx
immediately.

After modify  /usr/share/gvfs/mounts/network.mount   AutoMount option
to false , the  long waiting thunar startup gone .   I think  it not a
gvfs bug but cause by thunar not have use gvfs automount feature proper.
Maybe two pass driver loading?
