[Bug 393008] Re: [Karmic] power management icon says laptop is connected to power when it isn't
This problem is intermittent on my Dell Studio 1537. The command "cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/state" always seems to show correctly whether the AC adapter is present, but the gnome-power-manager in the panel and the output of devkit-power --dump always says the AC adapter is connected. When I check the power history is shows the laptop battery with the refreshed attribute set to 55876 seconds. Not sure what that is, but if that is how often gnome-power-manager checks for the ac adapter it could be part of the problem. ** Attachment added: "output of commands listed above" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/35925114/ac_unplugged.txt -- [Karmic] power management icon says laptop is connected to power when it isn't https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/393008 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1308054] Re: openconnect: PKCS#11 support broken with GnuTLS 2.12.x
Clean install of Ubuntu 14.04. I use openconnect to connect to a government VPN using the certificates on my ID (CAC). This is the error I get: POST https://vpn.gateway/ Attempting to connect to server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443 Using client certificate 'MY CERTIFICATE' Setting certificate failed: Internal error in memory allocation. Loading certificate failed. Aborting. Failed to open HTTPS connection to vpn.gateway Booted to a Ubuntu 13.10 Live USB and it works fine. Current workaround is to manually install and version lock the openconnect & libopenconnect2 version 5.01-1 from the saucy repositories. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openconnect -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1308054 Title: openconnect: PKCS#11 support broken with GnuTLS 2.12.x To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openconnect/+bug/1308054/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1066208] Re: power indicator shows a mouse battery as a laptop battery
I installed indicator-power_12.10.6 from the Indicator Staging PPA. Seems to pick the correct battery to display, until I turn off the bluetooth mouse, then it shows the icon for a low battery connected to AC power. When I click to display the menu, it shows the laptop battery charged, and the mouse battery as "(not present)". Also it still refers to the mouse as a "Battery" or "Laptop Battery" depending on where you look. I would prefer it if I could select a default, because I really don't care about the battery status of my bluetooth mouse. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1066208 Title: power indicator shows a mouse battery as a laptop battery To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-power/+bug/1066208/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 776082] Re: pcscd spams syslog whenever mozilla is running and CAC card is not inserted/present
Yes, https://software.forge.mil requires a smartcard login. Presently I'm forced to use virtualbox w/ WinXP. I also posted a comment on the libcackey forum on that site. [Bug 776082] Re: pcscd spams syslog whenever mozilla is running and CAC card is not inserted/present
This was not present in 10.04, I believe I was still using Firefox 3.5 (whichever was normal, I did not manually install Firefox 4.0). I did a fresh install of 11.04, with a completely new partition table. I am using the CACKey (libcackey.so) downloaded from software.forge.mil. The original 'libcoolkeypk11.so' doesn't work with newer 144K government ID cards; when I tired to use it, firefox crashed when I inserted the card. I'm now leaning toward this being a bug in PKCS11 lib or perhaps an incompatibility with Firefox 4. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/776082 Title: pcscd spams syslog whenever mozilla is running and CAC card is not inserted/present -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
