[Bug 501670] Re: g_set_prgname() called multiple times
Not that I intend forcing to version 2.22.2 since I'm soon planning on upgrading, but I thought I'd say, I got this error when trying to launch tomboy and now it won't even load at all. So, at least in my case its more than just a terminal message. If people don't intend to upgrade, I can understand the importance of fixing it! stu...@studio-laptop:~$ tomboy (/usr/lib/tomboy/Tomboy.exe:3420): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times (/usr/lib/tomboy/Tomboy.exe:3420): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times [INFO]: Initializing Mono.Addins Unhandled Exception: System.IO.IOException: Invalid handle to path "/home/studio/.local/share/tomboy/0d6597e4-b650-495d-8118-10d8b5487dfa.note" at System.IO.FileStream..ctor (System.String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, Boolean anonymous, FileOptions options) [0x0] at System.IO.FileStream..ctor (System.String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share) [0x0] at (wrapper remoting-invoke-with-check) System.IO.FileStream:.ctor (string,System.IO.FileMode,System.IO.FileAccess,System.IO.FileShare) at System.IO.File.OpenRead (System.String path) [0x0] at System.IO.StreamReader..ctor (System.String path, System.Text.Encoding encoding, Boolean detectEncodingFromByteOrderMarks, Int32 bufferSize) [0x0] at System.IO.StreamReader..ctor (System.String path, System.Text.Encoding encoding) [0x0] at (wrapper remoting-invoke-with-check) System.IO.StreamReader:.ctor (string,System.Text.Encoding) at Tomboy.NoteArchiver.ReadFile (System.String read_file, System.String uri) [0x0] at Tomboy.NoteArchiver.Read (System.String read_file, System.String uri) [0x0] at Tomboy.Note.Load (System.String read_file, Tomboy.NoteManager manager) [0x0] at Tomboy.NoteManager.LoadNotes () [0x0] at Tomboy.NoteManager..ctor (System.String directory, System.String backup_directory) [0x0] at Tomboy.NoteManager..ctor (System.String directory) [0x0] at Tomboy.Tomboy.Main (System.String[] args) [0x0] -- g_set_prgname() called multiple times https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/501670 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 783730] Re: Unable to exclude files by extension/filetype
I'm not sure why this is considered of low importance: excluding file types is something essential in any backup system. Considering this is the "official" back up solution on Ubuntu, I'd consider changing the priority! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/783730 Title: Unable to exclude files by extension/filetype To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/deja-dup/+bug/783730/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1093909] Re: Nautilus don't show network computers
This is still an issue in 16.04. Is it a regression? I'm pretty sure many releases ago Nautilus was able to show shared machines in LAN, allowing to quickly browse through them. [Bug 887677] Re: Possible Memory Leak using 3Finger with Ubuntu 11.10
Same happens to me, with only 1GB ram and no proprietary video drivers. My laptop *can* use Unity3d but the memory use keeps increasing until it tops. I'm now using 2d but it still is extremely memory hungry: over 60% just with firefox open at the moment. If I restart, it goes back to 30-40% but will continue to increase in time. top and htop don't seem to show a lot of the ram being used. Does anyone have a suggestion for temporary solution while this bug is pinned and then fixed? compiz --replace & didn't help, same amount of RAM used. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/887677 Title: Possible Memory Leak using 3Finger with Ubuntu 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/887677/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 887677] Re: Possible Memory Leak using 3Finger with Ubuntu 11.10
I found my swap space wasn't working properly. I re-formated it, copied the new UUID in fstab, uncommented the swap line and now my memory stays at around 40-50% It's not ideal but at least I know it's not a memory leak!

[Bug 814032] [NEW] Alt-F2 no longer highlights suggestions
Public bug reported: In 11.04, pressing Alt-f2 and typing your application means one has to select from a list of suggestions. Either: 1) using the mouse 2) the keyboard arrows 3) tabbing until you got to the thing you are after. Back in 10.10 and before, a simple Alt-F2 meant a *very* quick launch because of SUGGESTIONS being highlighted as soon as a unique name was found.
