[Bug 1310856] [NEW] Installer crashed while preparing disk for encrypted partition
Public bug reported: I already prepared 256MB sda1 with no problems. Proceed to prepare the remaining disk space for physical volume for encryption. The installer has no option to further create logical volumes so I have to revert. This leaves the physical volume free. I started creating 12GB for /, 6GB for /home and the remaining for swap. Yes, I was trying to include a swap on an encrypted partition when it crashed. Please note that this was all done inside VMWare Workstation 9. syslog: = Apr 21 21:24:03 ubuntu ubiquity[2144]: log-output -t ubiquity udevadm trigger --subsystem-match=input --action=change Apr 21 21:24:03 ubuntu ubiquity[2144]: log-output -t ubiquity udevadm settle Apr 21 21:24:03 ubuntu ubiquity: Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/perl5/Debconf/DbDriver/File.pm line 49.
