[Bug 1521173] Re: AER: Corrected error received: id=00e0
I'm also experiencing this bug with the latest debian testing release: Linux lemon 4.19.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.12-1 (2018-12-22) x86_64 GNU/Linux -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1521173 Title: AER: Corrected error received: id=00e0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1521173/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1788997] Re: rtl8723be wifi does not work under linux-modules-extra-4.15.0-33-generic
This problem still exists for me on debian testing with 4.19.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.12-1 Only if I put my laptop directly next to a device emitting a wifi network I am able to connect. Few meters away it already becomes unusable. ant_sel=1 makes it worse. ant_sel=2 not better. [Bug 1788997] Re: rtl8723be wifi does not work under linux-modules-extra-4.15.0-33-generic
For me ant_sel=0 "zero!" was the magic key. Took me a week of messing around until I realized one cannot only select 1 or 2 but also 0. Try out with these: sudo modprobe -r rtl8723be sudo modprobe rtl8723be ant_sel=0 iwlist scan | egrep -i 'ssid|quality' sudo modprobe -r rtl8723be sudo modprobe rtl8723be ant_sel=1 iwlist scan | egrep -i 'ssid|quality' sudo modprobe -r rtl8723be sudo modprobe rtl8723be ant_sel=2 iwlist scan | egrep -i 'ssid|quality' http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=140368&p=691244#p691244 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1788997 Title: rtl8723be wifi does not work under linux-modules- extra-4.15.0-33-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1788997/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1553503] Re: multi monitors - black flashes or black screen when the mouse cursor leaves a monitor
I'm facing the bug too on Lubuntu 16.04.1 on a ThinkPad Edge 11 with Kernel 4.4.0-36-generic. Sorry for the maybe stupid question, but will the fixed kernel version eventually be come via "apt-get update" in the near future or only when 16.04.2 is released? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1553503 Title: multi monitors - black flashes or black screen when the mouse cursor leaves a monitor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1553503/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1553503] Re: multi monitors - black flashes or black screen when the mouse cursor leaves a monitor
@tjaalton Thank you, I followed https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed to enable proposed and ran "sudo apt-get install linux-image-4.4.0-38-generic". But after reboot I had a low screen resolution on my laptop and it did no longer recognize my 2nd screen at all (did not turn on, xrandr did not see it either). uname confirmed I was running 4.4.0-38 I uninstalled the kernel again and it is as before again.
