[Bug 303226] [NEW] GNUSound crashes immediatly when executed.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnusound This bug is similar to bug number 282939, but the final release of Intrepid Ibex also has the same problem. I click on the GNUsound icon, I see the window, but the application immediatly crashes and logs out the session. I am owning an Acer Extensa, Model 4620Z. I expected the application to run properly, and not log out the entire session. ** Affects: gnusound (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- GNUSound crashes immediatly when executed. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303226 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 303238] [NEW] cheese webcam application stops responding
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cheese The gnome application, Cheese, which worked perfectly in Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, no longer works correctly in the final version of Ubuntu 8.10. At the beginning, the cheese application works perfectly, but when I change a setting, like adding or removeing a fun effect, my Acer Crystal Eye webcam stops displaying the image, than the whole application stops responding completely. I expected it to display the image, with the fun effects I wanted, but that does not happen. ** Affects: cheese (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- cheese webcam application stops responding https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303238 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 391458] [NEW] Download tool partially hangs when space on harddisk runs out.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 My harddisk was almost full and I downloaded a file that exceeded the capacity my harddisk could hold. [Bug 281550] [NEW] Firefox cannot load movies correctly- Due to Mplayer?
Public bug reported: I have Mozilla Firefox version 3.0.3 ,and I have Ubuntu 8.04.1 Hardy Haron LTS. I usually expect that when I go to live video streams on the internet, the video is always laoded correctly, with no errors. When I play videos, such as quicktime (.mov) files, or Windows media player files (.wmv), the Mplayer movie player plugin is a hit-and-miss with loading the video images. It loads, says it is buffering the stream, than displays, "Playing http://."; and only plays the audio of movie, and does not show the picture at all. If I'm lucky, sometimes the video images appear. I can only solve this by manually copying the url and playing it the Totem Standalone movie player, version 2.22.1. [Bug 120834] Re: intel gm965 freezes with 3d applications
I have an Acer Extensa model 4620, and I also have the same graphics card (Intel 358 Megabyte X3100), and have the same problem. Almost all of my 3D games, like Super Tux Kart, just crash after some time! I am using Ubuntu 8.04.1, Hardy Haron. All I can say is, I hope there are no proprietary drivers needed, otherwise this problem may not ever be fixed!
