[Bug 216267] Re: C-Media Electronics PLEOMAX PSP

2008-10-19 Thread gwenn59
Hi IanW,

For the moment, it is still an issue but maybe 8.10 will solve it with
pulse audio because the usb speahers works fine and I only have to find
how to force applications to use it.

Best regards,

[Bug 309609] [NEW] Jaunty, Pulse audio and USB speakers

2008-12-19 Thread gwenn59
Public bug reported:

I have tested Jaunty alpha-1. No problem during installation but I have
tested the USB speakers C-Media pleomax and pulse audioserver for
playing music and sound. Sound goes into the speakers of the PC and not
into USB speakers.

I have changed then parameters and used Alsa C-media USB speakers for
playing sound and music: No sound at all.

The problem was already reported for Intrepid.

Thanks for you answer.

I will do that on tuesday the 20th of april and let you know the result.

I would like to precise something. By preceding versions I meant
preceding beta versions. With Ubuntu 9.04 there's no problem at all.
