[Bug 544851] [NEW] grub loader can't be installed on sdb
Public bug reported: I write kubuntu10.04 beta iso to a flash disk and want to install it to the second harddisk of my laptop. I want to install grub loader on my second harddisk (sdb) instead of (sda) so that I can use the second harddisk on other laptops. But during the installation, there is an advanced configuration which is supposed to select grub loader installation disk. There is a drop down list. I can only see sda in the list and can not select sdb. [Bug 447241] Re: kubuntu Karmic network dsl doesn't work
Guys, don't count on KDE's network manager. This bug exist for years and it would probably last for another a few years. Those developers probably don't use DSL. There is a workaround: 1. sudo apt-get install network-manager-gnome 2. sudo apt-get remove network-manager-kde add "nm-applet --sm-disable" to autostart -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/447241 Title: kubuntu Karmic network dsl doesn't work -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
