[Bug 291840] Re: gphoto2 backend unable to mount MTP audio player
Sebastien, I am currently experiencing this issue on my jaunty system. When I plug in the MTP device, it automounts the mp3 player and adds 2 entries to the disk mounter applet as well. Not sure where it adds 2 instead of one, as only one shows up in the nautilus sidebar. Once it is automounted a window opens up asking if I would like to open the device with rhythmbox, however rhythmbox cannot see it because it has been mounted by gphoto2. So to reproduce it, I guess all that is needed is to plug the device in. I'm a bit new to this so please let me know if you need any more info. -- gphoto2 backend unable to mount MTP audio player https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291840 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 221233] [NEW] Since the update from 2 or 3 days ago, which had the bluez-utils updates, I have been unable to show any bluetoothe devices
Public bug reported: Since the update before the most recent one, the update which had the bluez updates, I have been unable to even refresh my bluetooth devices. Before this I could refresh and see them but not connect, but now nothing happens at all. Please let me know what I can do to provide any error messages or whatever you need that might help. I also went into the bluetooth preferences and told it to show always. When this did nothing I told it to show only when an adapter was present, and when I did this the bluetooth icon disappeared (although my bluetooth adapter light was still one). ** Affects: bluez-utils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Since the update from 2 or 3 days ago, which had the bluez-utils updates, I have been unable to show any bluetoothe devices https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 221233] Re: Since the update from 2 or 3 days ago, which had the bluez-utils updates, I have been unable to show any bluetoothe devices
ok sorry, that was my first bug report... I'm on ubuntu 8.04, with bluez utils 3.26. I restarted this morning and hadn't tried the bluetooth headset manager until just trying to get a screenshot for you, but then it refreshed just fine, showing the refresh dialog and my headset each time, but still would not connect to it. (This I found is another bug, in which btsco crashes on startup). I'm not sure if this is related, but I tried to pair my phone to the bluetooth this morning too, and the whole system froze right after it had made the pairing, the popup dialog for that was stuck on the screen too. Basically I guess I'm saying one problem fixed itself, and the other is waiting for a fix. -- Since the update from 2 or 3 days ago, which had the bluez-utils updates, I have been unable to show any bluetoothe devices https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 563161] Re: Must reenable desktop effects with every restart in ubuntu 10.04 lucid
I ran aticonfig --initial in a terminal only to be told that no adapters were present despite the fact that I do have an ATI radeon mobility X2500. After doing some research, I found that the X2500 is a rebranded X1700 which is not listed as being supported by the ATI driver any more. This could perhaps have something to do with my problem. -- Must reenable desktop effects with every restart in ubuntu 10.04 lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/563161 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 563161] Re: Must reenable desktop effects with every restart in ubuntu 10.04 lucid
I ran the compiz-check script from this page: http://forlong.blogage.de/entries/pages/Compiz-Check and it fixed my issue. This was mainly that gnome was running it's own compositing manager which interfered with compiz. Running the script told me the problem and then asked me if I wanted to fix it. [Bug 269123] Re: stkwebcam kernel-module doesn't support all the webcams supported previously with stk11
I have an stk webcam in my ASUS F3Se laptop, and it used to work fine in hardy but has not worked in any prior releases. Now in lucid it is finally detected under lsusb, but not seen by skype or cheese. This means I still have to use windows for times when I need the webcam (which are very seldom these days, thankfully). -- stkwebcam kernel-module doesn't support all the webcams supported previously with stk11 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269123 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 563161] [NEW] Must reenable desktop effects with every restart in ubuntu 10.04 lucid
Public bug reported: I have been running lucid since beta 1 and things went fine at first but since beta 2 was released I have been having this issue. When I first start ubuntu, my desktop effects/compositing do not work, and when I open a program that window only shows up in the left corner of the screen, leaving the rest of the screen blank (essentially in a quarter of the screen). There are no titlebars or buttons during this time, and if I run more than one program they overlap each other and I am not able to switch between them. To get around this I must open up the appearances preferences and reenable desktop effects each time I log in. This is the first bug I've reported so please let me know what other information may be needed. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Must reenable desktop effects with every restart in ubuntu 10.04 lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/563161 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
