After update 2-3 days ago I had become get screen with artefacts after
coming back from sleep mode. Moreover screen freeze and there is  high
CPU iowait load. But after killing Xorg process and relogin all works
good.

Yes, artefacts appears only with nvidia proprietary driver, but not with
nouveavu.

It started after I have updated ubuntu from 11.04 to 11.10.
When I turn on 'grid' and 'expo' plugins together, and use 'grid' plugin by, 
for example, pressing Alt+Ctrl+KP1.
What I expect:
Window moves to grid cell at left bottom corner only on current virtual desktop.

What is occurred:
When I switch to another virtual desktop, window has appears and on it, and 
it's interface has not gives response on mouse actions

I tried to install old versions of the kernel from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ (2.6.32, 2.6.35). But
system freeze during the boot and there are same artefacts instead the
symbols on boot screen. But I had not artefacts on these kernels in
Lucid and Maverick.

I plugged the second monitor to VGA output (first was plugged to DVI), and 
artefacts disappeared from both screens (during the boot and after 
Alt+Ctrl+F[n]). Then I disconnected first monitor (from DVI) and after reboot 
all was also OK.
I think this can help to correct the bug.

There are  text artefacts during the boot on foto2, but this picture
same as the text artefacts, which appears after Alt+Ctrl+F[1-6] pressing

I tested latest upstream kernel (from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/daily/current/).  System started with nouveau driver. All
is  also bad: There are artefacts during the boot and unable switch by
Alt+Ctrl+F[n] when one monitor connected to DVI.  When second monitor
connected to VGA - all works.

Additionally, When one monitor connected to DVI grub start with low
resolution (80x25) with black background and ubuntu boot logo not
appears. And when one or second monitor connected to VGA grab start with
hi resolution with colored background  and ubuntu boot logo appears.
