[Bug 121605] Re: [gutsy] segfault on joining secure network

2007-06-25 Thread ejstacey
Same here. Using WPA1. Denying prompts for my key. It then fails, but
I think that's due to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/network-manager/+bug/121439">this bug instead of being directly
related to this.

gnome-keyring-manager works fine.

I disabled the keyring integration in /etc/pam.d/gdm (commented out the
following lines) just in case but it didn't help:
## Added so that NetworkManager doesn't keep asking for Keyring password.
## relies on having same password to keyring as login password.
#auth optional pam_keyring.so try_first_pass
#session optional pam_keyring.so

nm-applet dumps a core file as well.

[Bug 121439] Re: [Gutsy]Network Manager Applet can't connect wireless with ipw3945 driver

2007-06-25 Thread ejstacey
I'm confirming too. I couldn't even get WEP to connect (manually), but
I believe that was just me (and me constantly changing my settings
without a reboot confused it all somewhere). Open security it works
fine.

[Bug 121439] Re: [Gutsy]Network Manager Applet can't connect wireless with ipw3945 driver

Each morning (US time) I update my system off the gutsy repos. Still no
go.

yostral: that crash is likely due to bug #121228

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/121228

Sorry, I don't know how to do URL links. HTML doesn't seem to work ;)
