[Bug 400920] Re: [i945] Displacement between Blender render window and content.

2009-07-19 Thread eibriel
Running LiveCD (Karmic alpha2), booting, adding Option "DRI" "false" to
the "Device" section of /etc/X11/xorg.conf, Logging Out and Logging In
Blender works properly. :)

Setting "i915.modeset=1" on boot command line return an error "Unknown
command" but apparently works (the fonts on prompt are small) , but
don't fix the problem. :( Actually some artifacts appear on cursor
(hiding and showing quickly).

[Bug 400920] Re: [i945] Displacement between Blender render window and content.

2009-07-23 Thread eibriel
Running Karmic Alpha2 LiveCD:

I upgrade xserver-xorg-core, xserver-xorg-core-dbg, xserver-common,
xserver-xorg-video-intel Log out, Log in:
-No change.

I upgrade xserver-xorg-core, xserver-xorg-core-dbg and xserver-common to the
version on the xorg-edgers PPA, Log out, Log in:
- Pressing F12 Blender locate properly the render on window.
- The menus work properly.
But:
- The interface become too slow (I make focus on a button, 2 seconds after the
button lightning.)
- The 3d window is freezed.

Then I upgrade xserver-xorg-video-intel to the version on the xorg-edgers PPA,
Log out, Log in:
- No changes on Blender, except 3d windows: the program only refresh the
"avatars", don't the cube and background grid.

[Bug 400920] Re: [i945] Displacement between Blender render window and content.

2009-07-24 Thread eibriel
On Xorg-edgers LiveCD Blender have the same behavior you describe.
Menus don't render, but work (are invisibles).

Some artifacts appear on loading cursor, Vertical lines around them on a
little box (I asume the refresh area of cursor). Like when I set
i915.modeset=1 on Karmic boot.

I don't think that are a %100 blender problem. Others programs have
problems refreshing (Supertuxkart on Jaunty).

PD: An easy way I found to make blender usable on Intel graphics is runing:
LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 ./blender

[Bug 444182] [NEW] Sistem crash after grub update

2009-10-05 Thread eibriel
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: grub2

Today I update the packages, apparently grub was updated too. On configuration
process the system ask me about the grub configuration file, if I like the new
version, or the older. I press the button to see the differences and the system
halt, the session was closed, but the login splash freezes.
I press the power button and the system restart.

The system start ok, but now ubuntu show the Spanish translations (my
default language) only on few buttons and menus. When I try to run
Synaptic, but the program tell me something is blocked, I must run
"sudo dpkg --configure -a". Then synaptic end the configuration
process. But the language problem continue.

On the original configuration process, the "More details" section was blocked
(on grey) and I can't see the download progress.

Best regards!
Gabriel.

[Bug 663297] Re: Software center does not allow the installation of 32bit packages on 64bit systems

2012-05-06 Thread Eibriel
Is solved? couse I can't install Eagle for instance.
If I want to see "More Info" Software-Center" warn me that I don't have Eagle
anymore on my actual software sources.
I must install eagle:i386 with Synaptic

(I've updated Ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04)

Regards!

[Bug 748137] Re: unity rendering broken with fglrx (black masks)

2011-04-05 Thread Eibriel
I've updated from PPA as 'dart' says and Unity works now :)
Using: VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon HD 3300 Graphics

Ading a Tab on Firefox, or closing a menu is a bit slow.

Thanks!

[Bug 614742] Re: [meta] cannot add facebook account, facebook does not update and more

2011-01-26 Thread Eibriel
I've successfully added a Facebook account, but, I've changed the Facebook
password, then I've no received updates anymore.
I've deleted the Facebook account from Gwibber, and when I attempt to add it
again, I can't see the Add button after Authorize it.

Plus:
If I don't delete Gwibber from my Facebook applications, I can't authorize it,
and the Add button don't show.

Regards!
