[Bug 174816] rythembox tries to sync with the wrong folder when using a sony playstation portable
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox Rhythmbox detects when I connect my play station portable but fails to sync as it is trying to sync with the wrong music directory. The path that rhythmbox is currently "file://media/DEVICE/PSP/MUSIC" but the correct path should be "file://media/DEVICE/MUSIC". Any mp3 that is put in the /MUSIC directory can then be played from the device. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- rythembox tries to sync with the wrong folder when using a sony playstation portable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/174816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 204587] [NEW] exale has a too big minimum size to be used on an eeepc
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: exaile I use exaile on my eeepc but it is not usable as the bottom row of buttons are not visible. The row of buttons previous, play, stop, next, status bar clear playlist are not visible leaving the status bar as the only way of controlling playback. The cause of this problem is the width request and height request properties are set in the glade properties to be 800 and 535 making it too big for the eeepc which has a screen of 800x480. To fix the problem you can edit exaile.glade and change the width request to 750 and height request to 450 (or smaller) to allow the whole window to be shown. I would recommend setting the minimum size to be 550x400 as a reasonable minimum size. ** Affects: exaile (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- exale has a too big minimum size to be used on an eeepc https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/204587 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 441638] Re: upstart job keeps restarting a dying gdm
In my case the nvidia kernel module was not built correctly built (it was resolved a day later) causing this problem. It is simple to reproduce just create a bad xorg.conf, this can be done by making a spelling mistake, having the wrong driver ie the nvidia driver marked in the xorg.conf when the driver is not installed etc. -- upstart job keeps restarting a dying gdm https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/441638 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 456286] [NEW] failsafe x is not working in karmic
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg Karmic no longer fails back to a known good fail safe graphics configuration if x crashes. Instead X is continually being restarted upon failure. This is a regression and is most likely related to how xsplash is being used. To recreate this bug start the computer with a broken xorg.conf configuration. In my case i somehow no longer had the kernel part of the nvidia driver installed. X would then start and report that the kernel module could no longer be found, It would then restart as X has crashed.
