[Bug 348049] Re: [Jaunty] USB Devices wont recognised on startup
"My WD MyBook only be discovered and mounted successfully, if the system is fully loaded and running. But if i restart the system with device plugged in, the external Harddisk wouldnt discovered and mounted after boot." Same problem here with same hdd, getting worse since last gvfs update (but I don't know if it is currently related). [Bug 233879] Re: gnome-system-monitor icon resources show as negative (unstable refresh)
Icons are ok, but icon's colors are wrong, as if there were applied a picture negative effect. Look at Firefox icon color for example, it should be the usual red firefox color icon. Here it's blue. But I think it is just a symptom, as the whole gnome-system-monitor has serious refresh problems too. -- gnome-system-monitor icon resources show as negative (unstable refresh) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/233879 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 233879] Re: gnome-system-monitor icon resources show as negative (unstable refresh)
Yes, same issue with the standard theme. But the problem resolved itself when installing proprietary ATI drivers. For now I have serious screen graphical glitches after gnome-system-monitor is opened. It could be drivers related... don't know for sure. -- gnome-system-monitor icon resources show as negative (unstable refresh) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/233879 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 325027] [NEW] No display no sound after installing Catalyst 9.1
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: me-tv On a fresh Ubuntu 8.10, I've compiled and successfully installed my pinnacle PCTV hybrid pro stick (320e), then installed kaffeine and latest me-tv. As I installed Catalyst drivers soon after, me-tv stopped working : no display and no sound (Kaffeine still works right now). [Bug 325027] Re: No display no sound after installing Catalyst 9.1
Yes, I have tried "auto" and it didn't worked either but eventually, i got it solved : I forgot to add the lines below in my xorg.conf : Option "VideoOverlay" "on" Option "OpenGLOverlay" "off" Option "TexturedVideo" "on" ... which definitely solved the issue. Sorry for the useless bug post and by the way, let me congratulate all of you, me-tv team, as I think me-tv is simply the best tv app out there for Ubuntu, simple & clean. [Bug 241927] Re: WD My book hard disk is not turned off when unmounting
Same problem here. But with another one in top of that : "When unmounting on Windows (XP), the hd shuts down itself" ... and is normally also able to turn on as XP starts. Problem is : as Ubuntu is starting (after Grub choice) the hdd seems to have enter some kind of sleep mode, so ubuntu failed to launch (console explaining that it was not able to mount the hdd). Taping "exit" and everythings runs fine then but it is definitively annoying... -- WD My book hard disk is not turned off when unmounting https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241927 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
