[Bug 196158] [NEW] networkmanager only manual connection works

Binary package hint: network-manager

i try to use the "auto-connect" function from "networkmanager" but
impossible to connect! Only the manual function work! Why? If some one
have the solution i gonna be greatfull!

P.S: im running 7.10 gutsy, ndiswrapper, wifi USB key wg111v3. The
pîlote work fine, only the auto-connection not working.

my network is a "livebox" router SAGEM fast 3302 the DHCP is ON, i have
a 128 WEP key, and every time i try to connect in "auto-detection mode"
its still trying to find the path, but after few seconds is come back
with the "start menu" asking again for the keys, but im sure the wep key
is ok! Because in manual mode is working fine why the auto mode is not
working?

ok i found the problem!! The WEP encryption is not working good with
'network-manager' i try to use the WPA encryption and at last it's
working! Now! Thanks for every who care about! The problem its solve now

Same problem, when i install ubuntu lucid with "KMS"=ON the 3D effect
with compiz are very slow, the solution for me was  to desactived KMS
with this command:

sudo su
echo options radeon modeset=0 > /etc/modprobe.d/radeon-kms.conf

Now compiz is working fine, but i hope they gonna solve this bug! :)

my graphic card -> ati x1650pro agp

my motherboard -> asus A7N8X-Deluxe rev. 2.0

I retested on my distribution "lucid lynx" and i still have the same
problem in autoconfiguration mode is still putting the agp mode in x4.
Unstead of x8 mode. I send to you the actual xorg.0.log.
