I remember I have to delete this script manually and retry... [Bug 1098352] [NEW] no input signal in pavcontrol for m-audio fast track pro
Public bug reported: I was hoping m-audio fast track pro usb audio input was fixed. It's not so, audio input in pulseaudio doesn't give any signal for the microphone's input. In the sound-card it is possible to see that there's a microphone input signal. I upgraded to latest generic 3.5.22 kernel. Something supposed to work that doesn't work still. For any configuration profile present on pulse-audio-control , also if the soundcard is set to " OFF ", the microphone is bypassed directly to the main output. I mean I always can listen to mycrophone, like if m-audio use my input like monitors input. At the same I can't see any level of audio in input in pavucontrol. I was able to use fast-track-pro (duplex channel A) in ubuntu before I reinstalled mythbuntu 12.04.1, so I suppose there is some problem between possible configuration of the fasta track pro. Many crashes I ricreated a category and noted shortcut work only with alt + something , problems with shift + something. in my case it was to left click on a soft link in xfce desktop to a partition mounted in /media/something , i can say i have problem to visualize the desktop icon(sometimes).
