[Bug 388240] [NEW] real player 10 consistently segmentation faults in Jaunty
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libx11-6 I have two machines -- current one Pentum dual core and another atom based netbook running eeebuntu. On BOTH machines "Realplayer 10" started crashing right after I upgraded to Jaunty. On one machine I upgraded from whithin ubuntu (using the gui). On the other one it is a totall new install from CD. My point is -- the bugs looks like it is independent of how upgrade was made and the processor. Now I have a subscription service that needs me to use Realplayer 10. Realplayer 11 works just fine. Only realplayer 10 has this issue. I got he player from https://helixcommunity.org/projects/player/files/download/2478 . [Bug 150193] Re: Remote Login via XDMCP is not working
Hi, I forgot to post. My problem got resolved (accidentally). It had (for some reason had to do with the router). The problem is, XDMCP tries to get to port 177 on the local host. For some reason, it is going thru the router and my router was blocking it. My mistake was I upgraded Ubuntu AND changed my router at the same time. I ended up moving back to my old router. To test to see if you have the same problem... please remove the network chord and try vnc-ing into local machine and it works fine. The curx of the issue is port 177 on the host needs to be reachable from the client. Hope this helps. -- Remote Login via XDMCP is not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150193 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

aleko74's work around is fine if we are OK with not using the buttons on the headset. Ideally I would love to use the buttons on the USB headset for mute/unmute, talk/end, vol up/down buttons. [Bug 628600] [NEW] netbook edition launcher is not showing rotating wheel when an application is launched
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: netbook-launcher This happens in the normal session (not the 2D session).
