You should just close this bug. It hasn't happened for quite some time
and I can no longer duplicate it under any kernal release in the last 18
months or more.

[Bug 706875] [NEW] When in a empathy group chat window, text entry does not wrap, causing long messages to continuously expand the window width

2011-01-24 Thread claus...@foundtechnologies.com
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

Open a group chat or get invited to one, then start typing a long
message. The text will not wrap to current size of the window, and
instead just keeps expanding the window width indefinitely. This
problem doesn't appear to occur in normal chat windows, only group
chats.

This got corrected on my next update. It turns out I had a broken
package. Once it was cleaned up the pdf reader worked fine.

Public bug reported:

This only happened once so far since update from 2.6.35-14-generic-pae
to 2.6.35-15-generic-pae. Don't know what caused it or how to duplicate
it. This is a Toshiba laptop and I often switch from using dual screens

functions and switching appear to be functioning ok, so I don't know if
that has anything to do with it.

Re: [Bug 608019] Re: systray.py crashed with SIGSEGV inhpmud_open_device()

2010-08-03 Thread claus...@foundtechnologies.com
Not sure how to submit this to HP. The HPLIP package isn't directly
supported by HP. It is from a linked affiliated site that supports the
HPLIP package.

Currently, I can't get HPLIP to even run any more at all, and I have
upgraded my kernel 3 times since this defect first occurred, so I'm not in
a position to retest this or recreate it and it may not even be a valid
defect anymore. Several other defects concerning hplip will need to be
addressed to get the package operating first, I believe, before we can
reopen this.
