[Bug 292809] [NEW] KNetworkmanager stays in "offline mode" after resume
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: knetworkmanager I have one wired network configuration (DHCP) in KNetworkmanager. I experience the same annoying issue. Are you shure, this is a mathematica issue? Everything worked just perfectly until I upgraded from gutsy to hardy (beta)!!! mathematica -defaultvisual is a workaround, that's true. But with that switch mathematica will use the ugly fonts that it used in earlier versions (e.g. 5.2 ) and not the nicely anti-aliased Courier-font that mathematica 6 was using in gutsy! There you'll find a download link for the karmic package which you can download and install via sudo dpkg -i trac_0.11.5-2ubuntu1_all.deb This will install the new package the ubuntu-way and in case any updates will be released later on (after you've upgraded your system to karmic), apt-get update will do them for you. -- trac pre 0.11.4 incompatible with python 2.6 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/369792 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1597517] Re: linux-headers-3.2.0-105 not in precise-security
This affects me as well when trying to install a new preseeded server. Are there any plans to bring linux-headers-3.2.0-105 back into the security pocket? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1597517 Title: linux-headers-3.2.0-105 not in precise-security To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1597517/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1597517] Re: linux-headers-3.2.0-105 not in precise-security
I was able to work around this issue in the preseed.cfg for now by directly selecting a HWE kernel: -d-i base-installer/kernel/override-image string linux-server +d-i base-installer/kernel/override-image string linux-generic-lts-trusty While this might not be what everyone wants it is a viable workaround for me at the moment.
[Bug 682501] [NEW] php5 5.3.3-1 causing segfaults -> 5.3.3-4 backport for maverick?
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: php5 With the current php packages in lucid (5.3.2) and maverick (5.3.3-1) some php applications including e.g. egroupware 1.8 cause php to segfault. My apache error.log is full of messages like these: [Sun Nov 28 23:43:18 2010] [notice] child pid 3924 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) [Sun Nov 28 23:43:19 2010] [notice] child pid 2373 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) Users in the egroupware mailinglist have reported (http://egroupware.219119.n3.nabble.com/Zwei-Module-UserMgmt- Dateimanager-funktionieren-nicht-out-of-the-box-tp1776310p1962159.html) that most of the segfaults are gone with php 5.3.3-4 from debian unstable (http://packages.debian.org/sid/php5). Would it be possible to provide a package of php5 5.3.3-4 in maverick- backports? ** Affects: php5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- php5 5.3.3-1 causing segfaults -> 5.3.3-4 backport for maverick? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/682501 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1097224] [NEW] Init script to start multiple instances.
Public bug reported: Inspired by the memcached init script I have written an init script, that allows for starting multiple instances of redis with different configs on the same host. This is useful on machines with more than one core since redis is single-threaded. See https://gist.github.com/4482825 It should be entirely backwards-compatible. It would be great to see this functionality in the upstream redis- package some day. ** Affects: redis (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1097224 Title: Init script to start multiple instances. [Bug 589611] Re: client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23)
I have now installed libc6: Installiert: 2.11.1-0ubuntu7.2 Kandidat: 2.11.1-0ubuntu7.2 Versions-Tabelle: *** 2.11.1-0ubuntu7.2 0 400 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-proposed/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.11.1-0ubuntu7.1 0 900 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages 990 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-security/main Packages 2.11.1-0ubuntu7 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages But I still get lots of the following errors: [Wed Jun 30 22:02:17 2010] [error] [client X.X.X.X] request failed: error reading the headers The only thing that helps for me is sudo a2dismod reqtimeout I haven't tried whether disabling mod_deflate has the same result however. But updateing the libc to the lucid-proposed version didn't fix it. [Bug 589611] Re: client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23)
Any news on this subject? I'm experiencing the same issue since the upgrade on ubuntu 10.04. I have seen "Bad Request"-error pages in Safari 4 and 5 and in the error-log I get "client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname" errors for the corresponding requests. It is however not reproducible, after reloading the URLs where the "Bad Request"-error pages were shown usually the normal content displays. Sometimes several reload tries are necessary. Any ideas where further investigations could go? I have never set up any special BrowserMatch directives, neither before nor after the upgrade. -- client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/589611 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 589611] Re: client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23)
mod_reqtimeout could be a reason, since it has been activated according to apt-listchanges: apache2 (2.2.15-1) unstable; urgency=low * This release adds and enables mod_reqtimeout, which limits the time Apache waits for a client to send a complete request. This helps to mitigate against certain denial of service attacks. In case of problems with slow clients, the timeout values can be adjusted in /etc/apache2/mods-available/reqtimeout.conf , or the module can be disabled with "a2dismod reqtimeout". -- Chuck Short Tue, 13 Apr 2010 09:09:34 -0400 I have now disabled it and will audit the server logs whether the error has gone. -- client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/589611 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
