[Bug 184078] Re: keyboard stops working until logout
This started happening to me too after I installed 8.10 on my Dell E1505 laptop. This never happened under previous Ubuntu installations. If I try to change the screen brightness, the keyboard stops working and in terminals the cursor changes from a black bar to an empty square, as if the window did not have focus. The only solution is to reboot (restarting X with ctrl-alt-backspace doesn't fix it). -- keyboard stops working until logout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/184078 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 387957] Re: Improve Save As Dialog Box (focus issues)
Very disappointed to see this marked invalid. When you're saving, most of the time you are creating a new file. The current behavior is only helpful if you want to overwrite an existing file. It is clear to me that the most useful behavior would be for focus to default to the filename field. I could not disagree more that "This is not an obvious usability flaw, and may even be considered a feature as-is." -- Improve Save As Dialog Box (focus issues) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/387957 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
