[Bug 573601] Re: Lucid: GLX not working on Nvidia driver
Looks like I've got the same issue. Just upgraded from karmic to lucid and compositing has stopped working. If i run up fusion-icon i just get a black screen. I followed your advise above and the xorg log seems to show the glx module being loaded, but still no compositing I've used grep to filter lines with nvidia from my xorg log in the attached txt file, hopefully that'll help some more interesting stuff: a...@b:~$ glxinfo name of display: :0.0 Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig a...@b:~$ glxgears Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual ** Attachment added: "filtered xorg log.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/48027837/filtered%20xorg%20log.txt -- Lucid: GLX not working on Nvidia driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573601 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 573601] Re: Lucid: GLX not working on Nvidia driver
apologies, no. I assumed it was the same issue and applied your fix. having "undone" the fix, I have the same Xorg log entries. it does seem that i have a separate issue.. -- Lucid: GLX not working on Nvidia driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573601 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 504550] Re: Add genre filter pane
+1 for this feature please. i find this almost essential for any music library management tool. fingers crossed for an imminent introduction of the feature :) -- Add genre filter pane https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/504550 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 480802] Re: pulseaudio strange log messages and flickering sounds in pidgin
I have the same log messages. Not sure if this is relevant or will help but i also have the following issue: Whilst i'm watching video in vlc I don't get sound alerts from pidgin. once the video stops and i close vlc it's as if i then get lots of queued up sounds all at once. it manifests itself in a very loud and very distorted alert message from pidgin. -- pulseaudio strange log messages and flickering sounds in pidgin https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480802 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 945689] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_mutex_impl_new()
Sorry for the delay. I forgot all about this as I'm not using Ubuntu much at all at the moment because i get booted to the login screen randomly and it kills all applications (including my virtual machines that utilise ram drives><). it looks like that might be a graphics driver issue, but that's another story.. This particular issue seems to be fixed from the once-in-a-row test that i performed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/945689 Title: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_mutex_impl_new() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/945689/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 254980] Re: Calendar displays appointments/meetings at incorrect times
If i run date in a terminal, it shows the correct date and time. My panel clock shows a different time, however. Current default time zone: 'Europe/London' Local time is now: Sat Jun 26 11:42:59 BST 2010. Universal Time is now: Sat Jun 26 10:42:59 UTC 2010. Run 'dpkg-reconfigure tzdata' if you wish to change it. My panel clock shows 10:24 !! <--yes 24 - I haven't transcribed those digits... 11:42 is the correct time. Is this a related issue, or am i missing something simple here? -- Calendar displays appointments/meetings at incorrect times https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/254980 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
