[Bug 929258] Re: software-center crashed with OSError in _execute_child(): [Errno 12] Cannot allocate memory
in my case the software center threw a crash report everytime I installed a package downloaded from the net (google chrome, Oracle- Virtualbox) and for some of some of Ubuntu maintained packages, but in spite of the crash reports the installations completed successfully and the apps work. This time it has crashed for good while installing Audacity from the main repository. Got stuck half way through and had to force quit. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/929258 Title: software-center crashed with OSError in _execute_child(): [Errno 12] Cannot allocate memory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/929258/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
