[Bug 1157643] Re: procps fail to start

2013-10-17 Thread apporc
In my cast, it's the same with Tudor Holton (tudor) , the error is :
kernel.printk = 4 4 1 7
net.ipv6.conf.all.use_tempaddr = 2
net.ipv6.conf.default.use_tempaddr = 2
kernel.kptr_restrict = 1
net.ipv4.conf.default.rp_filter = 1
net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter = 1
net.ipv4.tcp_syncookies = 1
kernel.yama.ptrace_scope = 1
vm.mmap_min_addr = 65536
net.core.wmem_max = 1048576
net.core.rmem_max = 1048576
net.core.wmem_default = 1048576
net.core.rmem_default = 1048576
error: "Invalid argument" setting key "net.ipv4.tcp_mem"
net.ipv4.tcp_rmem = 1048576
net.ipv4.tcp_wmem = 1048576

I found 'net.ipv4.tcp_mem=1048576' in /etc/sysctl.d/30-iscsitarget.conf.
As i never changed this 30-iscsitarget.conf file, So it should be a bug
from iscsitarget package which i just install recently.

[Bug 1157643] Re: procps fail to start

2013-10-17 Thread apporc
I changed 'net.ipv4.tcp_mem=1048576' to 'net.ipv4.tcp_mem=104857687380
 6291456', then it's ok.
Seems net.ipv4.tcp_mem needs three value separated by spaces, not one value.
I took the three value '104857687380 6291456' from
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_rmem.

30-iscsitarget.conf set net.ipv4.tcp_rmem to 1048576, but it's ok for
this one.

[Bug 483237] Re: Pulseaudio and RME HDSP: pops and cracks, or module not being loaded at all.

2010-04-28 Thread apporc orchard
I solved my problem the same to that above

module-alsa-card.c: Failed to find a working profile.
module.c: Failed to load module "module-alsa-card" (argument: "device_id="29"
name="platform-thinkpad_acpi" card_name="alsa_card.platform-thinkpad_acpi"
tsched=yes ignore_dB=no card_properties="module-udev-detect.discovered=1""):
initialization failed.

I just installed package : linux-backports-modules-alsa-2.6.32-21-generic
and please see the package "linux-backports-modules-alsa-lucid-generic" too.

after installed that ,reboot,the errors above disappeared.

2010-04-23 Thread apporc orchard
I am also affected with kernel 2.6.31-21 in ubuntu 10.04 LST in IBM thinkpad
T42p 2373
module-alsa-card.c: Failed to find a working profile
module.c: Failed to load module "module-alsa-card" (argument: "device_id="29"
name="platform-thinkpad_acpi" card_name="alsa_card.platform-thinkpad_acpi"
tsched=yes ignore_dB=no card_properties="module-udev-detect.discovered=1""):
initialization failed

this error occured during the boot,and i find it in the /var/log/syslog

But as i tried ,I can play music very well with totem.

if i do this:
pulseaudio --kill
pulseaudio --start

there isn't any errors.
