[Bug 225675] Re: Hardy Heron boot error
I noticed another thing, but I don't know if it has something to deal with this problem. In the 10% of times that the system boots normally the face browser in the login window does not appear, although the login can be made typing username and password with the keyboard. Disabling usplash the login window works correctly. -- Hardy Heron boot error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/225675 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

To Saïvann Carignan: "Also can you confirm that without usplash, the computer always boot, 100% of the time ?" [Bug 225675] Re: Hardy Heron boot error
Actually System / Preferences / Screen Resolution is set to 1280x800, while the resolution in /etc/usplash.conf was set to 1280x1024. I changed the last one to 1280x800, but the bug still occurs. -- Hardy Heron boot error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/225675 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 225675] Re: Hardy Heron boot error
Hi. Disabling usplash like you told me the system boots normally. I don't know if this could help, but I was able to read two lines that appears during the boot (without disabling usplash) before the line I posted in the bug description: ACPI: EC: acpi_ec_wait timeout, status = 0, expect_event = 1 ACPI: EC: read timeout, command = 128 -- Hardy Heron boot error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/225675 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
