[Bug 539350] Re: X does not behave properly with the -16 kernel in Lucid
@DouglasAWh Apparently it's not limited Lucid. Apologies if I am not posting in the correct area, but this did sound exactly like the behavior I as experiencing. -- X does not behave properly with the -16 kernel in Lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/539350 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 600407] [NEW] Wavy Video with Core i3 and i915
Public bug reported: I am currently running a Core i3 with built in video. If I run the 2.6.31-14 from the Karmic release everything is fine. The next driver I have installed is -19. If I run that one or anything newer up to the current release (22?) I get wavy jittery video. I've tried booting of off the 9.1 workstation live CD and the 9.10 64bit server CD (which I installed from ) and everything is fine. I've also tried booting off of the 10.04 workstation and server cds and the video has the same problem. I will try and install a couple of kernels soon so I can track down exactly which one the problem starts with. Hope fully next week. [Bug 539350] Re: X does not behave properly with the -16 kernel in Lucid
I can confirm I too am seeing this with 9.10 64bit. with a Core i3 and i915. The current kernel I'm running is 2.6.31-22-server. It happens in Gnome or just at the console as well. When it boots it's fine until the resolution switches to match the monitor. I still have the -14 kernel, so I'm going to go back and try that to see if it goes away tonight. -- X does not behave properly with the -16 kernel in Lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/539350 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
