[Bug 286501] [NEW] Volume applet 2.24.0.1 bug volume control
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager When using a logitech s510 wireless keyboard's volume buttons, no volume is changed. fig1. shows volume control and adjustment of Master changes volume level. fig2. shows config of the volume applet (preferences) which should allow you to change what device is controlled by the vol up and vol down keys. It is set to the correct device and channel (only master exists) but it fails to change the volume. I have two soundcards, a SB Audigy and inbuilt one and this happens with both. [Bug 286501] Re: Volume applet 2.24.0.1 bug volume control
I have tried adjusting volumes with all the numerous sliders on different mixers, to no avail. I did however 'unhide' some sliders from the SB Audigy (CAXXX) mixer and find one that set the volume It was 'front' I think, it was set at 7/8 volume but moving it up clipped the sound terribly. -- Volume applet 2.24.0.1 bug volume control https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286501 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 58424] Re: Can't calculate the upgrade with unofficial mesa/compiz packages
I have had this same issue, but when I attempt a full upgrade in Synaptic, I get an error further down the line about xsession5 or something! I have used Automatix to get backports etc, I wonder if everyone else has done this too? -- Can't calculate the upgrade with unofficial mesa/compiz packages https://launchpad.net/bugs/58424 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 187383] Re: System monitor causes Xorg to consume 100% CPU
Yeah, I was following the post on the Ubuntu forums about this. Its a real pain, but as you can see from the screenshot, its much less worse now (not 100%cpu). What fix was released for this, or where can I find the changelog? However you will see with the window at the smallest it will go, around 5-10% CPU usage, and when maximised to nearly 1680x1050 it will be 20-25% usage on a [EMAIL PROTECTED] now. I agree this needs to be much lower, max 1% but it comes down to the efficiency of the code for graphs I suppose. ** Attachment added: "Skärmbild-Systemövervakare.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13028157/Sk%C3%A4rmbild-System%C3%B6vervakare.png -- System monitor causes Xorg to consume 100% CPU https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/187383 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
