[Bug 361693] Re: Aiptek tablet only registers as a mouse in /dev/input

2009-11-03 Thread Waldeck Schützer
The input symlink is no longer required after intrepid. According the
information above, one can see that the correct driver was attached to
your tablet, so it should work as expected. Now, have you followed the
part of the guide which instructs you to write a hal .fdi file? It might
help if you attach a copy of that file to this bug report.

[Bug 469959] [NEW] WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.31/kernel/power/suspend_test.c:52 suspend_test_finish+0x80/0x90()

2009-11-01 Thread Waldeck Schützer
Public bug reported:

There is a slow resume after suspend. Everything seems ok, except for a
few ACPI errors in the message log, and for the crash-report indicator
which seems to be related to a kernel WARNING. Anyway, suspend/resume
worked just fine on jaunty, and I actually kept my notebook running for
over a month without ever rebooting.

I have reported this problem before, but I had the kernel tainted by the
ATI fglrx proprietary module, so I gave it another shot with an
untainted kernel. This is a pristine karmic install, no other packages
added.

I hope this helps.
