[Bug 231864] Re: Renaming files (changing capitalization) on external USB fat32 drives not allowed
My "two step" work around for this was to for example name example.TXT to example.TX? where "?" is any other character but the original uppercase character "X" then rename example.TX? to example.txt. Seems to work OK but what a pain in the posterior. -- Renaming files (changing capitalization) on external USB fat32 drives not allowed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/231864 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 500617] [NEW] No dynamic detailed description displayed
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-center Ubuntu 9.10 The old Add/Remove Applications (gnome-app-install) had 3 panels, one of which dynamically displayed a detailed description of each package when highlighted. Software Center appears to have excluded this feature or it is not obvious how one may enable the feature if available. This feature was very convenient when reviewing the various packages for installation/removal. ** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- No dynamic detailed description displayed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/500617 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 291073] Re: Firefox 3.03 freezes when the Print dialog is accessed.
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 252079 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/252079 I am in the same boat as TR using Firefox 3.5.5pre under Ubuntu Linux 8.04.3 LTS. I must use Opera to print pages from a site until this is rectified in a future release. This is only a duplicate in that it is the identical problem in a later version of Firefox. -- Firefox 3.03 freezes when the Print dialog is accessed. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291073 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
