[Bug 380341] Re: HP mini 2140 sometimes fails to recognize keyboard and trackpad

2009-06-06 Thread Tobias Axelsson Heia
Can confirm the bug. You can also make this happens by suspend some
times, and wake it up with the screen still closed. Then mousepad and
keyboard are dead until reboot. But you can still connect an external
USB keyboard and continue, that works.

If you need some more debug, please just let me know. Got this little
beauty yesterday.

Please give me a hint if anybody knows how to intense debug this issue

Was flash running at the moment of freeze? Your running Kubuntu 9.10? I
have not had a freeze in a long time now. 9.10 is in alpha-release, so
that is a hard one to debug. We limit the bug to 8.10 and 9.04 releases.
But please continue contribute with information.

[Bug 444763] [NEW] Option to make grub completely silent?

2009-10-06 Thread Tobias Axelsson Heia

This is a feature request.

it means. BIOS->Black screen->splashscreen is my proposal.

[Bug 432300] [NEW] Randomly no working keyboard or mouse HP Mini

2009-09-18 Thread Tobias Axelsson Heia
Public bug reported:

Have been trying to debug this issue in 6 months now but I have no clue.
I have in may 2009 installed 9.04 on my HP mini 2140 laptop and
everything seems to work as it should. But in 1/20 boots it ends up with
no keyboard or mouse. Need a hint how to debug this. Hard to debug
becourse of the random nature of this bug.

If I, when the build-in keyboard and mousepad is frozen, connect an usb
keyboard and mouse it works on them.
The powerbutton work, so if I trigg that, I can wait 60sek for a good shutdown,
and then boot up again, and it works again as it should. Have never been frozen
twice boots in a row.

Today Sept 18 8:40 it happend again, see attached logfiles.

[Bug 458862] Re: After update 21 oct. can not connect mobile broadband

2009-11-02 Thread Tobias Axelsson Heia
When downgrade to jaunty network-manager and network-manager-gnome

network-manager_0.7.1~rc4.1.cf199a964-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb
network-manager-gnome_0.7.1~rc4.1-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb

it works again, so it is pretty confirmed that new network-manager is
the problem. Comments??

Bump

bump bump

** Package changed: linux (Ubuntu) => network-manager (Ubuntu)

[Bug 458862] Re: After update 21 oct. can not connect mobile broadband

2009-10-30 Thread Tobias Axelsson Heia
The modem flashing blue and is in "ready" 3G state. When trying to
connect, it starts to flash green for some seconds and then you get a
disconnect. Tried to boot all old kernels but no change.
