[Bug 600728] Re: gave up waiting for root device (temporary, intermittent)
I was able to fix this by adding a rootdelay=90 in the kernel line of my grub config. Seems pretty consistent among all my lucid installs, but then my hardware is also pretty consistent: Dell M605/SAS6IR I'd love to be able to preseed this into the grub config on the target...
