[Bug 90020] Kopete should not use a patched contact list by default
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdenetwork Feisty's Kopete appears to have a modified contact list ( https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FeistyFawn/Herd4/Kubuntu#head- 4d575b0b04e320f919b389b2187bcabfae0f122f ), which is done via Kopete reloading kits ( http://www.google.com/search?q=%22kopete+reloading+kit%22 ). These kits are patches on the source. Unfortunately for me, I am running a high-resolution screen (1600x1200), and the avatars are now unusably small. One note is that the above fix breaks suspend for me. The following has to be added to /etc/default/acpi-support to make it sleep and wake up appropriately. [Bug 1172821] [NEW] App Indicator not showing apps launched with Wine
Public bug reported: System: Intel® Core™ i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz × 4, 3,8 GiB RAM OS: Ubuntu 13.04 64 bits Unity: 7.0.0daily13.04.18~13.04-0ubuntu1 Wine: 1.4.1-0ubuntu5 Given that I launch an app with wine that has a systray icon When that app opens Then I should see the systray icon displayed in the App Indicator But the icon is not displayed And I can only see the icon when I open the Workspace switcher (Alt+s) Or while switching workspaces (ctrl+alt+arrow) Since Wine nor Unity crash, I couldn't find any log or useful debug info on the problem. It used to work in 12.10, so I think the problem is related to the recent removal of system tray support (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2013/02/raring-retires-system-tray- whitelist). Yet, as I understand, Wine apps are whitelisted. Maybe the problem is that Unity is not recognizing the app as being launched by Wine? Categories: 7.10, Gutsy Gibbon, fstab, usb, virtualbox. By default the USB Host system, when installed on Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon, is disable. To enable it is extremely simple. You can do it manually with “nano” or “gedit”. [Bug 105155] i8042 should be a module, not built into kernel
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20 Hi all! The i8042 module does not play nicely with suspend, and so must be removed before suspend and reinitialized on resume. Otherwise, it has to be reinitialized as per Bug #81667. I believe that i8042 is even on the default acpi blacklist, though I'm not sure where it is and how to check it.
