2008-06-05 Thread Sultan Rahi
Problem solved for me by uninstalling pango-graphite in synaptic.

[Bug 310123] [NEW] Bad translation in French for the word "Hindi"

2008-12-20 Thread Sultan Rahi
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: scim

On Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex (but it's the same since Edgy Eft) :
The French translation for "Hindi" is wrong. It is written "hindou" (hindu)
instead of "hindi". A religion is not a language.

I don't want to be the only one to take care of it. If nobody cares
about spelling, it's a shame.

[Bug 310123] Re: Bad translation in French for the word "Hindi"

2009-07-22 Thread Sultan Rahi
Thank you for not helping. I said "in progress" because SCIM developers said
that they will fix it.
I have the right package right from synaptic in Jaunty.
If you want to put it knew, right. I don't know where it can be fixed because
the translator is not available and nowhere else we can ask to change the
translation.

I will not make any effort to explain or help, since I did it for two
years without success. I will also leave Launchpad as nobody seems to
care about good writing or even speak French (I don't think it's you
case).

Or maybe you just didn't understand. Too sad.

Bye and leave happy with you're ignorance. You could have help us on that
problem (which you didn't and will not) but you just reproach me I don't
know what.

[Bug 310123] Re: Bad translation in French for the word "Hindi"

2009-07-23 Thread Sultan Rahi
Damn, I can't change my previous message. I'm really sorry if I hurt
you. I will not do it again, promise. I was a bit upset because I said
in #3 : I asked on the SCIM mailing list to change it. It will be fixed
soon. Great.

The change is confirmed in the sources in development of SCIM. It means that
it's not only in progress but will be sooner (I hope) or later, visible in
Ubuntu.
I keep an eye on that but don't want to be responsible for anything from now on.

[Bug 157447] Re: xfce4 mouse cursor themes not used in all applications

Doesn't work too on Lucid Lynx without GDM (but work with).
Rvgsd workaround make input impossible and the terminal doesn't start. But the
cursor is the right one.

[Bug 241736] Re: support EPUB format

2012-10-29 Thread Sultan Rahi
Fbreader, Sigil or and Calibre can read epub but are not automatically
installed (and are not using GTK libraries but I am not sure that it is a
problem). And, except for Fbreader that is not really pretty, they are a bit
too big to be used as simple readers (it's like using Gimp to view a picture).
It will be a good idea to have it as a plugin in Evince as it is a kind of
universal reader installed by default.

There is also the possibility to use an add-on in a browser but it's not
really a convenient solution.
