[Bug 325506] [NEW] /usr/lib/jni not put in java.library.path

2009-02-04 Thread Stephane Galland
Public bug reported:

The standard Debian rules about Java introduce /usr/lib/jni as the
location of the JNI libraries.

This path is not present in the default Sun JRE library path.
The only way to put /usr/lib/jni in java.library.path is to explicitly use the
-D command line option or to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable.

Because the sun-java6 package is based on binaries, could it be possible
to put a wrapping script which is setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH according
to the Debian rules? See attachment for an example. This script could be
link as an alternative in place of all the JRE's binaries.

The OpenJREs have been requested to add /usr/lib/jni directory inside
the default library path on Debian-like systems.

Best regards,
Stéphane

[Bug 104990] Re: [need-packaging] Subclipse

2007-07-18 Thread Stephane Galland
I written a package for the Subclipse plugin. I successfully installed
it on a Feisty.

The package is available in binary and source version on my repository:
deb http://download.tuxfamily.org/arakhne/ubuntu feisty-arakhne universe
deb-src http://download.tuxfamily.org/arakhne/ubuntu feisty-arakhne universe

It is also available from a browser at the address:
http://download.tuxfamily.org/arakhne/pool/eclipse-plugin-subclipse/

May my packaging work be used as a basis for the official Ubuntu
packaging?

Stephane.

[Bug 189690] [NEW] libGLw.so is not provided by a package

2008-02-06 Thread Stephane Galland
Public bug reported:

libGLw is a part of the mesa project which permits to use GL with
Motif/Lesstif GUI.

No package in Ubuntu provide the libGLw library.

Some googling let me see the package libglw1-mesa as a possible missed
provider. This missed package was build from the mesa source package.
But the debian/control file is commenting the libglw1-mesa lines.

Should this library comme back in Ubuntu repositories?

[Bug 608598] [NEW] Footnote extension does not work

2010-07-22 Thread Stephane Galland
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mediawiki-extensions

Hi guys,

When enabling and using the Footnote mediawiki extension, it does not
produce any HTML code on the mediawiki page and log the following
message in Apache logfile:

[Thu Jul 22 10:00:48 2010] [error] [client X.X.X.X] PHP Warning:
Parameter 3 to parse_footnote() expected to be a reference, value given
in /usr/share/mediawiki/includes/parser/Parser.php on line 3243,
referer: http://www.janus-project.org/index.php?title=Jaak&action=edit

Because it is an error, the parse_footnote() function is not run and
consequently nothing is output on the HTML page.

This bug is always reproductible.

Operating System: Ubuntu Lucid Lynx
Kernel: 2.6.24-10-pve
Mediawiki: 1:1.15.1-1ubuntu2.1
Mediawiki-extensions: 1.6
Mediawiki-math: 1:1.15.1-1ubuntu2.1

I attached to this issue a patch to fix the bug.
