[Bug 482501] Re: Karmic incorrectly mounts USB disk (NTFS) as 700, cannot change behavior.

2010-02-21 Thread Stefan Schindler
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 453605 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/453605

The patch fixed it for me, too. Thx!!

As long as we linux users actually want to show off with our systems and
then end up grepping in /etc/udev/rules.d for umask, then applying
patches and such, while the person we wanted to show how easy to use our
os has become faints in seeing hierogylphes at the terminal WE WILL BE
LAUGHED AT FOR A DAMN GOOD REASON!

Nevermind, haha!

So what to do with the package devicekit-disks now? Put on hold?

[Bug 856711] Re: 11.10 - Suspend fails on Asus 1215B

2012-08-06 Thread Stefan Schindler
@sami

Don't bother. I dont have a crypto disk set up and unfortunateliy I'm
experiencing the exact same problems. Tried with
/etc/pm/config.d/suspend_modules  and /etc/pm/config.d/modules

It crashed pretty hard each time I tried to wake it up. Worse than
before. So there IS a change. But not the way I'd hoped.

Hoping for a solution.

Cheers, Stefan

[Bug 561923] Re: No support for Google Apps

2010-09-09 Thread Stefan Schindler
OK, somehow this is not working for me.

This is what my desktop-webmail.ini looks like (domain-name changed)

[Config]
remember=true
default-provider=Gmail
default-url=https://mail.google.com/a/raXXing.de/mail/?extsrc=mailto&url=%s
default-inbox=http://mail.raXXing.de

when I click on a mailto-link it always drags me to
https://mail.google.com/mail/ and wants me to type in my google mail
credentials. But I want google-apps apparently.

So what am I doing wrong?

help!!? please! I would LOVE to get this working.
