[Bug 478659] Re: Some PDFs do not print from Evince in 9.10 on some printers

2010-01-28 Thread Stefan L.
I use Ubuntu 9.10 and a HP LaserJet 2200dtn, connected via USB locally.
Evince does not print any PDF. I see the LED blinking, then stopping to
blink, but no paper comes out. In /var/spool/cups I see, that the print
spooler file has been created. Printing out of xpdf and other
applications works fine.

[Bug 513058] Re: Evince does not print PDF to HP LaserJet 3380

2010-01-28 Thread Stefan L.
Evince does not print to LaserJet 2200dtn either. I do not think, it is
a problem with HP printer but one with evince or poppler. This bug
should be classified important, since a desktop computer is useless, if
you cannot print with it.

[Bug 1681822] Re: Gnome Shell Freezes when Chrome fullscreen is toggled

2017-04-23 Thread Stefan L
I am also affected by this bug.

System info:
- Ubuntu GNOME 17.04
- gnome-shell 3.24.0
- Google Chrome 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit)
- Intel Graphics (driver=i915)

Details:
- The freeze only occurs on screens without a top-panel and only when Chrome is
maximized when activating fullscreen.
- Disabling hardware acceleration in Chrome does not prevent the freeze.
- The freeze can be prevented by unmaximizing Chrome beforehand, by using the
main screen (which has a top bar) or by using the "Multi Monitors Add-On"
extension [1] to add a top bar to each screen.
- With these workarounds there still is a short flash of inverted colors
when activating fullscreen. This flash does not appear when using Firefox.

2016-11-09 Thread Stefan L
Public bug reported:

I would like to install both libgps-dev:amd64 as well as libgps-dev:i386
but those packages conflict and thus keep uninstalling the respective
other.

What I expect to happen:

Both packages can be installed at the same time.

What happens instead:
--
Packages conflict and require uninstall of the respective other.
