[Bug 653770] Re: k10temp unreliable CPU thermal sensor; monitoring disabled
Well , AMD claims that the Temperature is indeed unreliable and SW should not use it, that's why k10temp disables the monitoring. See http://support.amd.com/us/Processor_TechDocs/41322_10h_Rev_Gd.pdf#74 the easy fix is to do: Icreate /etc/modprobe.d/k10temp.conf and just add # force k10temp module to use the processor temp, even if it's unreliable options k10temp force=1 and it will work the same as before. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/653770 Title: k10temp unreliable CPU thermal sensor; monitoring disabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/653770/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
