[Bug 348014] [NEW] file manager only opens in max view (takes the whole screen).

2009-03-24 Thread Shawn Peterson
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

file manager only opens in max view (takes the whole screen). The
collapse/resize/exit buttons at the top are hidden. There is no way to
resize the file manager. Even if i click on the tab at the bottom,
nothing happens. I am using ubuntu 8.10.

Well, it seems to have corrected itself, but i would still like to know
what to do if it happens again.

[Bug 129614] Re: package memtest86+ 1.70-2ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should

2010-03-09 Thread Shawn Peterson
My machine is stalling while trying to upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04 alpha
3. It is getting stuck on the memtest86+. It is via wubi, so I have
tried a couple of times, and same result.

[Bug 1164821] Re: Tried to install firefox on kubuntu raring using the muon firefox installer on virtualbox-4.2

I had the exact same experience as Erfan. Muon package manager lists
"firefox-globalmenu" as broken. Not sure if this is relevant or not.

[Bug 1158271] Re: rekonq crashed with SIGSEGV in JSC::JSArray::shiftCountWithArrayStorage()

2013-04-26 Thread Shawn Peterson
So, not sure if it is happening for the same reason or not, but both
rekonq and qupzilla (both of these use webkit) are crashing consistently
for me on two different machines. On the one machine, I upgraded to
13.04. The other one is a fresh install of 13.04.

Here is a website that will cause them to crash everytime:

ubuntu.html

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318639 . Done, although I don't
think it is specific to rekonq, as it also happens in qupzilla.

[Bug 837098] Re: Cannot install Ubuntu One Music Store plugin

2011-09-07 Thread Shawn Peterson
Also in ubuntu 11.10, same problem. This is the error via apt-get in
the terminal:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

 rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store : Depends: rhythmbox-plugins (>= 0.13.3) but
it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

The plugins are of course the latest version supplied via the software
center.

[Bug 112392]

2015-03-08 Thread Shawn-peterson-0
I can confirm that this bug is still happening to me. A restart does
seem to correct it. Not sure if it will go back to the incorrect count
as others suggest or not. I can report back if that would be helpful.
