[Bug 59476] xkb/symbols/inet: XF86AudioRaiseVolume is defined twice for Logitech keyboards
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xkeyboard-config In the /etc/X11/xkb/symbols/inet, the special key "XF86AudioRaiseVolume" is defined twice in a row for Logitech keyboards, with different keycodes. This prevents this key from working for any Logitech keyboard. Lines 1091-1092: key { [ XF86AudioRaiseVolume ] }; key { [ XF86AudioRaiseVolume ] }; maps to keycode 175, which is incorrect. The correct keycode for Logitech keyboards' raise-volume control is , which maps to keycode 176. Removing the line causes the volume control to start working again, and xev to give the appropriate output: KeyRelease event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x341, root 0x107, subw 0x0, time 2348973111, (-182,134), root:(1166,159), state 0x10, keycode 176 (keysym 0x1008ff13, XF86AudioRaiseVolume), same_screen YES, XLookupString gives 0 bytes: ** Affects: xkeyboard-config (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- xkb/symbols/inet: XF86AudioRaiseVolume is defined twice for Logitech keyboards https://launchpad.net/bugs/59476 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 42504] Re: Cannot associate with unencrypted networks using bcm43xx chipset (ndiswrapper driver)
To add my 2 cents, I cannot connect to unencrypted networks even using the bcm43xx driver instead of ndiswrapper. However, once I set my network to WPA-PSK encryption and used the appropriate login, I connected immediately. -- Cannot associate with unencrypted networks using bcm43xx chipset (ndiswrapper driver) https://launchpad.net/bugs/42504 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 38406] Re: Tray icon for battery status is always "empty"
Nuvola does not contain icons for showing different battery levels. It will only show you power / charge / battery / no battery icons. [Bug 155216] Re: network-manager fails to stop properly when connected to wireless
It's rather reversed for me. When connected to the wired net (eth0), I cannot shutdown and it hangs when trying to stop eth1 (wireless). When connected to wireless, I shut down cleanly.
