[Bug 380736] Re: banshee errors on certain unicode tags
I'm sorry, I haven't been able to reproduce the error with a new user and fresh configuration yet, and after playing a bit more with the affected user, the bug is gone. [Bug 380736] [NEW] banshee errors on certain unicode tags
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: banshee $ lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release:9.10 Using banshee 1.4.3-4. I tagged an album with the greek letter pi (π), as well as some songs. The character is displayed correctly in Banshee, and looks like the metadata was successfully written to the file. However, the in-disk layout haven't changed, tracks haven't been renamed according to metadata. Banshee ouput looks like this: [Warn 22:17:35.928] Caught an exception - unrecognized token: "'r" (in `Mono.Data.SqliteClient') at Mono.Data.SqliteClient.SqliteCommand.GetNextStatement (IntPtr pzStart, System.IntPtr& pzTail, System.IntPtr& pStmt) [0x0] at Mono.Data.SqliteClient.SqliteCommand.ExecuteReader (CommandBehavior behavior, Boolean want_results, System.Int32& rows_affected) [0x0] at Mono.Data.SqliteClient.SqliteCommand.ExecuteNonQuery () [0x0] at Hyena.Data.Sqlite.HyenaSqliteCommand.Execute (Hyena.Data.Sqlite.HyenaSqliteConnection hconnection, Mono.Data.SqliteClient.SqliteConnection connection) [0x0] [Warn 22:17:35.928] Caught an exception - unrecognized token: "'r" (in `Mono.Data.SqliteClient') at Mono.Data.SqliteClient.SqliteCommand.GetNextStatement (IntPtr pzStart, System.IntPtr& pzTail, System.IntPtr& pStmt) [0x0] at Mono.Data.SqliteClient.SqliteCommand.ExecuteReader (CommandBehavior behavior, Boolean want_results, System.Int32& rows_affected) [0x0] at Mono.Data.SqliteClient.SqliteCommand.ExecuteNonQuery () [0x0] at Hyena.Data.Sqlite.HyenaSqliteCommand.Execute (Hyena.Data.Sqlite.HyenaSqliteConnection hconnection, Mono.Data.SqliteClient.SqliteConnection connection) [0x0] Submitting via non-uri handler. Also, the files were sync'd correctly to my iPod, but π symbol doesn't appear correctly when accessing it from Banshee on the iPod library. I guess that might be a related, but different bug. ** Affects: banshee (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- banshee errors on certain unicode tags https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/380736 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 16953] Re: Aptitude: should accept both " Si" and "Sí" (when asking for confirmation)
@Federico, I guess you mean the other way: 'Si' (conditional) and 'Sí' (affirmative). 'Si' is linguistically incorrect but highly convenient. Accepting both 'Si' and 'Sí' would make aptitude behave correctly from a linguistic point of view, while making possible to use aptitude in situations where an accent can't be typed.
